Based in Bristol, my practice works with found and raw materials to explore relationships between place, material history and lived experience.
Growing up in the South Wales coalfield continues to shape my thinking around land, extraction, class and belonging. Through sculpture, installation and expanded material processes, I explore how events leave physical and psychological traces, and how material forms can act as witnesses to personal and collective histories.
My work often shifts between industrial materials and domestic references, using processes of rupture and repair to explore identity, labour and loss.
I am actively engaged in creating opportunities for artists to work and learn together. In 2025 I set up Mother Matters, an online space for bereaved mother artists to support one another and share their work and ideas. In September 2026 I received public funding, by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, to lead an eight month creative research project. Working with three other (m)other artists, we will explore what it means to language this loss within our practices, and what impact that has.

Alongside my studio practice, I have initiated and run a number of artist-led residency and project spaces in Bristol – The Unit (2016), The Garage(2019) and The Launderette (2023) – and (m)Other Matters (2025).
I am based at Spike Island, Bristol.
